Before I start looking forward to the new year and setting goals and aspirations, I am looking back and seeing what worked in the past year. These are the top ten posts from 2023 based on you, my readers and the main reason I am here. I aspire to bring you the inspiration you are looking for, which in turn will help me grow as well.
This is a helpful guideline to help me plan and create content that is important to you as I reflect on the past. It is always fun to review things that were well received and successful. I am looking forward to an amazing year ahead with all of you.

I love beeswax candles, and this hack is a great way to get the look without the price tag.
There’s so many things to love about these candles.?I make them and use them often.?

pine cone wreath DIY
I love decorating with pine cones, and they are a great resource for home decor from September through until the end of late winter or beyond depending on where you live.
This is a fairly simple DIY, and it’s a super versatile piece.?It can be adapted to your decor by accessorizing it with accents, ribbons etc. that are your style.

easy frame wreath tutorial
I love all the vintage vibes this old frame wreath gives off.?Frames are one of the things I always look for while thrift shopping.
I will be creating this again really soon for the upcoming Valentines’s Day Holiday.

Quail Egg Stuffed Mushroom Recipe
This recipe was a bit out of my comfort zone, but it clearly resonated with many of you.
It’s not an extremely difficult recipe but it does have wow factor.?I will definitely keep my eyes open for quail eggs from now on since I would love to try this again or experiment a bit more.

Weathered Basket DIY
This is an oldie but a goodie.?Year after year it continues to be featured, and I still love all these baskets and use them daily.
I use the paint techniques in this post all the time.?They are my go to when I up-cycle thrifted finds or want to update a piece I have owned for awhile.

thrifted goodies – using vintage linens to make. table runner
I have a weakness for vintage linens and this was a great project to put all these pieces to work.
I inherited some of these pieces from my mother and grandmother, plus through the years I added thrifted pieces so I get creative in order to use them all.

This is a super easy DIY that can be used for so many different design styles. Simply select a base and top that fit your aesthetic.
I will be expanding on this concept this year with additional projects and DIYs.

Everybody loves organizational posts, especially at this time of year.?I actually have a couple of new organization posts coming your way really soon.
I love linens.?Tabletop linens are a major weakness with pillow covers as second runner ups.?I love the textures linens offer, and I try to purge as much as I add, but it’s a tricky balancing act.

the best honeycomb cheesy cracker appetizer ever
This is a super easy addition to an appetizer board with a great wow factor. Don’t be fooled though. Although it’s simple, it is incredibly decadent.
Cheese, honey and the bee motif, say no more.?I can see why this post would be a reader favorite.

the easiest fancy dessert idea
This is a great entertaining dessert idea.?It’s a crowd pleaser and pretty easy to make.?A win win in my book.?
I use this dessert formula in many ways, using different cakes and fruits plus a variety of other components.?It always makes for a great presentation.

Hi MaryJo – You had such a busy year! I can’t believe how much content you created and shared. My favorite post you wrote was about bees – at the end you linked a variety of bee themed items. (I remember because you linked a pitcher I am still thinking about). Anyway – its always fun to read your posts and to learn what you are up to. Wishing you a very successful 2024!
