Hello March! The St. Patrick’s day celebration is in a few weeks and it is always full of fun festivities. Here are some ideas on how you can inject some St. Patrick’s day inspiration into your own home.
These ideas do not necessarily require you to run out to the store and stock up on St. Patrick’s day themed baubles, but rather takes a more organic approach. Use things you already own and inject some greenery and you can create all the St. Patrick’s day vibes into your home.
I am also a big proponent of crafting or personally creating seasonal decor. It’s cheaper and you can adapt it to fit into your home aesthetic. I hope some of these ideas speak to you and inspire you to add a little bit of Irish into your home. By the way, I’m 0% Irish, as far as I know, but I love this holiday for whatever reason.

Decor Vignettes
An easy way to add a touch of seasonal vibes is to create a decor vignette in your home.
This doesn’t take much space, and if you display it strategically it sets the mood.
For the St. Patrick’s day holiday, I have two go tos that amp the holiday feels. These include color and flora.
Anything green and plants and flowers do the trick for me.
Bells of Ireland, shamrock plants and moss are favorites to use around here this time of year to inject the Erin go Braugh feels.
If you don’t love the color green as much as I do, you can always inject green into the decor without a huge commitment, by using green props like candles, paper goods {beverage napkins, etc.} or even free graphics from the internet you can print at home do the trick.
Table Stylings
Nothing is more festive than breaking bread with friends and family. Setting a pretty table only makes the celebration more special and it’s one of my favorite things to do.
Stylish St. Patrick’s Day Tablescape
Of course I like to use plenty of green when I set a table centered around the St. Patrick’s holiday, but I like to keep it elegant.
Green flowers, candles and napkins set the mood in this elegant St. Patrick’s day table.
The moss rocks add the organic touch I like to inject whenever possible.
St. Patrick’s Day Celebration Tablescape
The green Spode transfer ware plates set the tone for this table. And the shamrock plants and green pillar candles down the center of the table ground the theme.

Wedgwood Jasperware St. Patrick’s Day Tablescape
For many years I collected green Wedgwood Jasperware, and it was the perfect muse for this table.
St. Patrick was actually British, so it makes perfect sense to use English wares for an Irish St. Patrick’s day celebration.
I used boxwood wreaths, moss chargers and some greenery to once again inject the organic feels.

Craft DIYs
One of the easiest ways to inject holidays goodness into your home is to create something yourself. It tends to be cheaper and it’s unique to you and your style.
Thrifted Frame Artwork
I recently shared this DIY St. Patrick’s day pressed shamrock artwork. It has all the organic vintage vibes I love.
Using a thrifted frame and some graphics it came together easily without a big expense.
Building a seasonal vignette around the shamrock frame, using some of my suggestions, brings the seasonal styling together.
Lucky Banner
A green lucky banner is the perfect way to say St. Patrick’s day without actually saying it.
I created this years ago using all miscellaneous items from my craft stash.
I love how it came out and I pull it out every year.
Mini Book
This little “Lucky Us” book was actually a project for a memory keeping class I took a million years ago.
I absolutely love it. My kids were littles at the time and it’s a treasure to pull out every year.
Mini books are super fun to create or you can just purchase one already made at a craft store and embellish it to your style.
Altered Cards
Altered art is always a great way to express yourself. I created these fun and whimsical cards a few years ago.
One year I styled them in the wreath frame in our dining room.
This year I simply pinned the altered cards to a thrifted frame and voila! A seasonal piece of artwork. Works for me.
