5 Wickedly Unique Halloween Table Theme Ideas
Skulls & Skeletons
This table design keeps it simple with a bony theme and a black & white color palette. Skulls and skeletons throughout the table reinforce the theme.
The inspiration for this table are the skeletal bowls, which a sweet friend passed on to me. The bowls immediately ignited this design idea. The bowls perfectly mix and mingle with our regular table top plates, which made it easy.
Even the guests are a pair of bony chaps! A gent and his dog sit at the ends of the table, fitting right into the scene. One cannot help but have fun with Halloween stylings since the subject matter is always mystical and magical.
Dark & Dreary
A traditional table with ravens, black pumpkins and boney touches sets a dark & dreary tone perfect for any festive Halloween celebration.
This table was inspired a bit by Edgar Allen Poe’s “The Raven” by using the black birds and rolled scrolls in test tubes and other literary touches.
A great tip I shared for this table is simply draping some regular chargers with creepy cloth to amp up the dreary factor. The details on how to do this are on the original post {halloween tablescape}.
Glitzy & Glam
Even though you are setting a Halloween table it does not mean you have to forego your style and sensibilities. You can absolutely set a perfectly glitzy and glam table for Halloween.
This was such a fun table to put together because it is still very pretty and proper but yet has a touch of the Halloween injected in it so it remains jovial for the holiday. A simple touch like the black, glittery trees in the center of the table tells the story.
Once again all the details are available on the original post by following the link above. The boho vibe injected in this “fancy” {if you will} halloween table is everything!
Moody & Macabre
This table was set with plenty of mood and macabre feels. It’s dark and creepy and totally up my alley. {lol} It very much sets the mood.
The table was spring boarded by the color palette of green & black but additional details like the tarnished silver plate and gross vermin and wilting organics really set the tone for a dark and moody setting.
Although the table has plenty of unplensentries it also still has plenty of refinement. It makes for the perfect mix for a fun Halloween dinner party.
Charming & Cute
Although this table is mostly charming & cute in nature, please be warned that the centerpiece does have a touch of creepy to it.
This table is super versatile since the chalkboards can be used for many different holidays, seasons and events. The chalkboard boards were easy to make using craft store wooden boards with raw edges and chalkboard paint.
And although the table is over all charming and cute the centerpiece is definitely strong in the creepy factor. The dismembered thrift store dolls steal the show.
Closing Thoughts
Although I know everyone doesn’t get behind the Halloween holiday, which I totally understand, I love how fun it can be. It really brings out my inner child. I have projects brewing, which I will share here soon. There’s another halloween table in the plans, plus crafts DIYs as well and decor stylings for inside and outside the home.
