Hi friends!?I wanted to pop in here today and share some Valentine’s day decor inspiration.?These are all DIY decor ideas I have shared in the past for Valentine’s Day.?I hope you find some inspiration here today.
We are a month away from the holiday of love.?I find much of the Valentine’s Day decor in the marketplace to be a bit loud or over the top sometimes, for my taste anyway.?So I tend to make my own decor accents.
I am sharing 7 projects today and please pin anything that inspires you to make your own unique Valentine’s Day DIY decor.?You’ll see the pieces I make use some of my usual muses, including moss and sheet music.?Of course I inject vintage vibes as well.?Come on in and enjoy some Valentine’s Day inspiration.

Heart Wreath
This heart wreath is fairly simple to make and easily adaptable to your own style.?You can use any type of moss and flowers plus the accent ribbon can be bigger or a different color, etc.
A heart grapevine form is the base for this wreath with natural elements attached on top.?I used real moss and dried flowers, but you could also use faux elements.?Here are some supply options: grapevine heart, assorted moss, and dried roses.

Easy Frame Wreath
This is another wreath, using a vintage frame.?I added some fresh eucalyptus and a plush heart.?It’s really simple and I adapted it through the year.
I actually adapted the frame wreath through a few holidays during the year.?You can see some here {St. Patrick’s day frame wreath}, here {rustic Easter carrots wreath frame} and here {a patriotic frame wreath}.?SO easy and fun!
Here are some similar supplies you could use: a gilded frame and really cute plush hearts.
Paper Mache Hearts
Vintage sheet music is one of my favorite things I love to pick up at thrift stores.?I used some pages to decoupage paper mache hearts.?If you need instructions on how to decoupage paper mache pieces with paper this post will be useful {how to decoupage Easter eggs}.?
Once the decoupage medium is fully cured simply add pretty ribbon and accents that coordinate your personal style.?
Mossy Hearts Garland DIY
I love the organic feels this mossy heart garland provides.?Notice there is no pink or red below, but it still evokes all the Valentine’s Day vibes with the mossy heart garland, the XOXO pillow and the cupid’s arrow metal heart.
Simple cardboard heart cutouts are the base for this easy mossy heart garland.?I love easy and inexpensive projects like this.

Floral Cone Bouquets
Although I created these bouquets for May Day a few years ago, they play double duty for Valentine’s Day perfectly.
Sheet music cone bouquet
I love the delicate feel of this paper cone with all the sweet and romantic vibes for Valentine’s day.
Mossy cone bouquet
Of course a moss cone was a no brainer for me.?This is a great piece I can use throughout the year in many different ways.??
Mossy XOXO Wreath
Last but not least is this mossy XOXO wreath.?Although I place the XOXO on the wreath when I first made it, I have used it in other Valentine’s day vignettes as well.
I bought the XOXO form, but you can certainly create it yourself using cardboard.?It will take a bit more work, but probably save a few dollars.?Either way, it’s fairly simple to put together.
