Classic Champagne Cocktail
One of Mister Ms favorite ways to savor champagne is the classic champagne cocktail. You can’t go wrong with this one, it’s a classic and it makes champagne that much fancier. The classic champagne cocktail consists of bubbles with a sugar cube, bitters and brandy. The traditional garnishes consist of a lemon or orange peel and a Maraschino cherry. It all makes for an elegant and pretty beverage.
French 75
Ok, this is my favorite drink of all time. It’s tart (think lemons), it’s potent (hello gin) and it’s sparkly (bubbles enter stage left). Yum! If you’ve never had one, I highly recommend it. The French 75 is a classic cocktail dating back to World War I. It’s an elegant drink, and it’s totally my jam!
Pomegranate French 75
As a festive twist to the classic French 75, pomegranate infuses a bit of fun. We tweaked the Classic French 75 recipe substituting the sugar with pomegranate juice. It’s a delicious elixir and the color and flavor immediately inject festive vibes to any occasion.
Porn Star Martini
Don’t let the name fool you on this one. It was coined the porn star for the exact reaction it evokes. Disregard the name and indulge in this stylish and delicious cocktail. I wasn’t familiar with passion fruit until we made this and it’s delicious. It makes a beautiful garnish, but don’t just look at it. Make sure you enjoy the actual fruit because it’s divine!
Honey Ginger Champagne Mule
Moscow mules are a wonderful choice for a refreshing summertime beverage. This version is infused with honey and ginger and elevated with a splash of bubbly. It’s a fun twist on the classic with a depth of flavor. Copper mugs are traditionally used since they conduct temperature and keep the drink chilly, but any glassware works just as well.
Blood Orange Mimosa
I love blood orange anything. It elevates basic oranges to another level. This fresh blood orange mimosa recipe is delicious and a bit more special than regular mimosas with added sparkle and drama. Give this one a try at your next brunch celebration and you can thank me later.

Apple Cider Mimosa
Another twist on the classic mimosa with all the fall feels. Apple cider and cinnamon add autumnal vibes to the classic mimosa. Although regular mimosas tend to be a brunch phenomenon, this apple cider version is good anytime. We enjoyed these on Halloween night with other parents while our tweens and teens were haunting the neighborhood. Pin this for later in the year, and you’ll wow your guests with seasonal intention.
Cotton Candy Champagne Cocktail
This is a super fun idea. Great for a birthday celebration, Valentine’s Day and it’s great to involve the littles with sparkling cider or clear soda. The adult version uses bitters as in the classic champagne cocktail to counteract the sweetness, and the sugar cube is substituted with cotton candy. So fun!
Rock Candy Champagne Cocktail
Similar to the above but with rock candy instead of cotton candy. The candy color will infuse the champagne, which can be themed for any event. Makes for a fun and festive sweet treat. These were prefect for a Breakfast at Tiffany’s celebration.

Prosecco Popsicle Refresher
This is another fun warm weather treat. Simply use popsicles with your bubbles to create a sweet and unique refresher. The popsicle melts into the Prosecco as you drink it. You can eat the popsicle as you drink the bubbly or simply let the popsicle melt into the drink. It is refreshing and fun and festive. Another great way to include the littles with soda.

Tips & Recommendations to Keep In Mind
Bubble Types
True champagne comes from the Champagne region in France. Spain has Cava, while Italy has Prosecco and here in the good ole USA we have sparkling wine. All of these are fabulous and interchangeable to a certain extent. Some are sweeter like the Prosecco, while Brut varieties tend to be drier. Use what appeals to your taste buds.

Quality
Since you are adding other ingredients to the champagne or sparkling wine, I would recommend to not necessarily use super spendy bubbles. At the same time, I would also recommend using bubbles which taste good on their own.

Chilled
Ideally champagne should be served as cold as possible. Chilling the champagne to perfection is critical. Besides having the champagne chilled, you can also chill your glassware. Champagne buckets with plenty of ice is always a wonderful compliment to a nice bottle of bubbly.

Glassware
This is a super important detail for me. I believe the correct vessel should be used for the appropriate beverage. It honestly alters the taste for me. Anyone else? Champagne is customarily served in flutes or coups and there’s a wide variety of both. Beyond that it depends on the cocktail variety, which might include martini glasses or goblets or high balls, etc. Use what you have and enjoy drinking out of.
