Hello, Hola, Bonjour!
I am MARYJO, a vintage soul, who’s married to my honey, aka Mr. M., who made all my dreams come true. He made me a wife, he made me a mother and he makes me laugh each & every day. My life revolves around my family & my home and on this blog I share all the pieces of this wonderful life. I love all things that are weathered, tattered, tarnished, rusted, faded, shabby, & distressed because they have a story to tell. Here- I tell my story, which includes my love for home decor, gardening, entertaining, cooking, traveling, crafting and anything that makes life pretty, fun & interesting.

In the beginning… back in 2006… I started this blog to keep in touch with family and friends across the country, in Uruguay and around the world, sharing family updates, travel stories and anything that popped into my head. Here I could share the tales about my two biggest masterpieces: Master M and Miss M.
In the middle… my blog morphed into a communication tool for my memory keeping & altered art business and some Vintage Creations business as well, keeping my scrapbooking followers informed while also making family updates. My scrapbook pages became my Masterpieces about Master M, Miss M, Mr. M, our home, our gardern, our travels, our life.
In the now… the blog has taken a new, more focused direction. Our home, garden, lifestyle, and life basically is shared with like minded bloggers and the world. I hope to inspire others while I learn and am constantly motivated by this incredible blog universe.

About our Home
The Master”piece” home resides in Northern California on the East Bay of San Fransisco. Nestled on the westside of a quaint little suburban town, this California rancher was built in 1964.
The Masterpiece family made it their home in 2007 where MaryJo and husband Matt with Sebastian and Lexi have made many, Many, MANY memories. Mocha {RIP}, chocolate Labrador Retriever, Bailey {RIP}, yellow Lab and Misty, silver Lab have also been along for the ride.
This is the home for all the home improvement projects, gardening tasks, home decor designs, gatherings, DIYs and much much more that we love to share here. It’s all about…
