Nine Sweet Treat Recipe Ideas
1} Sweets Dessert Board
I recently shared this dessert board, which has a huge wow factor but is pretty easy to put together.?I chocolate dipped the strawberries and pretzels myself but you can simply use all store bought confections for an easier route.?On the other hand, if you know your way around the kitchen and love to bake, you can make as many homemade choices as you prefer.?
2} Chocolate Covered Strawberries
Hand dipped chocolate covered strawberries always seem like such a decadent treat.?They are actually not hard to make, and they are always a crowd pleaser.?These are the perfect treat for Valentine’s Day in my opinion.?Or for any day actually ?.?
3} Fancy Brownies
These fancy brownie stacks are a wonderful way to make an everyday treat like brownies extra special.?The raspberry chocolate combination is one of my favorites and this raspberry coulis recipe is super yum.
4} Icebox Cake
This is a total retro dessert.?One of my best friend’s mother while growing up always made this.?It’s basically a giant homemade Oreo cookie and it’s a favorite around here.??
5} Toffee Chocolate Chip Cookies
I shared these cookies not too long ago and they are my favorite home made cookies.?I never make simple chocolate chip cookies anymore.?This is my go to cookie recipe and it never disappoints.
6} Chocolate Pistachio Cake
This is a great entertaining recipe since it yields two of these cakes.?This is the go to cake recipe of a friend of mine, who passed on the recipe to me.?The nutty flavor of the pistachio in the cream is everything.?Trust me.
7} Lavender Honey Posset
So posset was new to me when I tried this recipe, and I am hooked.?The flavor and texture is sublime and believe it or not it’s fairly simple to prepare.?We loved it so much over here we created the cranberry version below.?
8} Cranberry Posset
We love the posset recipe, and the cranberry version was a great way to inject all the holiday feels.?It’s so yummy and pretty.?Since you chill it over night, it’s a great prepare ahead dish, prefect for entertaining.?
9} Candy Champagne Cocktails
We can’t forget about drinkable sweet treats.?What is more festive than champagne??By simply adding some sweet treats you create a fun experience.

Cotton Candy Champagne Cocktail
Adding some cotton candy scoops to bubbly makes a very festive and colorful beverage.?I always like to channel that inner child to amp the fun in celebrations.
Rock Candy Champagne Cocktail
Rock candy is also a great addition to a glass of bubbles.?Pick any color to coordinate with your event or celebration.?The colorful fizz is everything.?You can also use sparkling cider so the kids can participate in the fun.??
Quick Story about my Sweet Tooth
So, most of my life I have been a savory gal.?I still am for the most part; if given the sweet or savory choice, I will always choose salty.?But I do have to admit I have a sweet tooth now, which I never really had until my 2nd pregnancy with my daughter.?She has a total sweet tooth and guess what??She passed it on to mom.

Don’t get me wrong.?I ate sweets and enjoyed plenty of desserts before, but I never really had hankerings until Lexi, aka Miss Masterpiece.?And there’s nothing better than enjoying all the sweetness with my baby girl.?I have some new recipes coming your way, in both the sweet and savory categories.?I am looking forward to sharing.?Bon Appetite!?
