Today I am sharing different ways and ideas to use mercury glass in different tablescapes throughout the year, through different seasons and during many holidays. I discovered how many tables I have used my mercury glass decor while organizing posts for the new year, so I thought you would enjoy some mercury glass tabletop inspiration to kick off the new year as well. I hope you enjoy these mercury glass tabletop ideas.
Mercury glass is a great foil for setting a pretty table. I’ll start with a New Year’s Eve table since we just kicked off the new year.

New Year’s Eve Mercury Glass tablescape
Mercury glass ornaments in different shapes and sizes line the table from one end to the other, spilling over at each end.
I love how mercury glass reflects in the twinkle of the candles weather they are votives, or tapers or pillar candles, etc.
Winter Mercury Glass tablescape
After the new year turns and the long days of winter carry on I love to keep setting special tables after the holidays like this winter table.
For this tablescape mercury glass compotes filled with faux snowballs and mercury glass votives line the center of the table.
Once again I love all the shimmery reflections of the twinkling votive candles.
Spring Lemon Mercury Glass tablescape
During the winter our Meyer lemon tree is plentiful on fruit leading us right into the Spring season, which inspired the following tablescape.
A mercury glass compote holds lemons while mercury glass vases spill over with yellow blooms. A yellow & gray color palette always appeals to me.
Easter Mercury Glass tablescape
I found these glass accent plates @Target years ago and they coordinate well with these tablescapes. The main event for many of us during the springtime is Easter.
This Easter table is loaded with mercury glass Easter eggs, mercury glass compotes filled with moss eggs and candles plus mercury glass votives.
I will share a secret {or not so much a secret if your a regular reader here}; these are faux mercury glass compotes I made myself. I will share how to make your own at the end of this post.
Summer hydrangea Mercury Glass tablescape
Spring then rolls right into summer when our hydrangeas are in full bloom in the backyard and I use them all over the house, including in many tablescapes.
Mercury glass vases in various sizes and shapes are full of hydrangea blooms for this tablescape.
Nestled between the mercury glass vases I included the votives that are on repeat at most of these tables.
Friendsgiving Mercury Glass tablescape
The glass accent plates also make an appearance at this table. After summer time we have the Fall season which is represented with a mercury glass friendsgiving table.
The mercury glass votives and accent plates were joined by mercury glass pumpkins for this table.
Although I use many of the same mercury glass items and plates and linens, etc. on all these tables, each table is still unique and individually inspired.
