A beautifully set table can be created using disposable tabletop ware and faux greenery. You can make a super pretty table setting by selecting the right items to set a disposable, faux tablescape.
All special tables do not require fine china, hand cut crystal and sterling silver. There are some beautiful paper and plastic alternatives in the market place now, which make setting a disposable table a pleasure.
Long gone are the days of boring paper white plates and ugly plastic cups. I used pretty floral paper plates, placemats and napkins here with colorful plastic plates, glasses and cutlery to create this disposable table styling.
The centerpiece is comprised of faux greenery. I used two eucalyptus garlands with varied Dusty Miller bouquets tucked in.

Faux Centerpiece
When I do not use fresh florals and greenery, I usually lean towards dried or persevered varieties. But I do have some faux pieces in my collection, which I used in this table design.
The faux greenery fit the table design best. I bought the eucalyptus swags for a Senior event I chaired in the spring for my daughter, and now I love using them in projects like this. The Dusty Miller sprays I purchased years ago from Michaels. You can see how I used them in other projects here {end of the summer tablescape al fresco} and here {metals IV – galvanized metal}.
Styling a Disposable, Faux Table scape
In real life I am very monochromatic with my table top, so this was a super fun project for me. Using inexpensive, disposable items gave me the freedom to use items I don’t normally gravitate to with real dishes.
Mixing and matching all the colors and florals and patterns was definitely stepping outside my comfort zone. There’s blue, green, pink, peach, yellow and so much more in this table design.
Without the big financial commitment to a style of dishes I might not use all the time, gave me a ton of wiggle room to play. Also it goes without saying that there’s a ton less clean up. There are SO many benefits to a faux, disposable table.
