I’m attracted to anything galvanized and I’m pretty sure I’m not alone.
Most of my galvanized pieces I use in my container gardening. Remember this vignette from the summer?

Of course I love to bring the galvanized loveliness inside too.
I love the rustic feeling of galvanized metal which can also lean towards industrial but I find it to have a warmth to it all at the same time.
The farmhouse trend has brought galvanized items to the forefront but I’ve loved them for years.
I bought this galvanized window box about two decades ago before the farmhouse trend had hit and it’s undergone many costume changes through the years from ribbon to decoupaging to the latest- stenciling.
My latest acquisitions are some tabletop items.

These galvanized boats I used for a summer tablescape are fantastic.

In my latest halloween tablescape I used galvanized napkin rings, adding a touch of casualness amidst the crystal and sterling flatware.
I always love the juxtaposition of rustic & refined.
Galvanized metals are a great way to add casualness and it marries equally great with natural elements as well as with finer items.
