I am trying to hold on to summer as long as I can over here.
The kids are back at school and autumnal decor has descended on stores, catalogs, magazines, blogs, etc. all symbolizing fall is here.
And I would be lying if I didn’t confess that I’m already thinking of fall for my home & blog as well.
But it doesn’t mean I can’t languish in some last summertime pleasures.
One of those being eating on the patio.
I set our wrought iron table with a mix of rustic and refined elements.
I used melamine plates I pick up at Target a few years ago, galvanized baskets from Crate & Barrel I got this past summer, green ball jars as glasses to give it a more casual | outdoor feel.
This along with a linen table cloth & napkins, some silver pieces, and stately candle holders give a refined juxtaposition.
I included some throws and blankets since the evening will start warm but will end on a colder note.
Are you still lingering in summer or have you turned the page to fall? I’m mid stream.
Bon Appetite!
