Easter is ingrained in Christian history symbolized by the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Easter is also culturally associated with the Easter bunny and Easter eggs, which is thought to represent new life and rebirth. This aligns with the religious symbols of resurrection and renewal. Easter is a movable feast, which is observed the first Sunday following the full Moon that occurs on or after the March or spring equinox.

There are many ways to DIY Easter eggs. These floral eggs are my latest Easter egg DIY and the most unique. You can adapt them with any flower types and color options.

Decoupaging Easter eggs is an easy way to add amazing designs. I used paper napkins for the eggs below, and I’ve also used thrifted vintage sheet music. There are many paper options which can be used, including tissue paper, wrapping paper, scrapbook paper and more.

German glass glitter makes everything magical. These glitter eggs were a Pottery Barn dupe from a few years ago. German glass glitter patinas and ages over time creating a beautiful vintage finish.

Moss makes everything better. Moss eggs are easy to make and once again add the fresh spring and renewal feels.

A paint brush is a magic wand which can transform so many things. Paint can coordinate eggs to your decor or seasonal theme. These eggs pictured below were from my booth at a local pop-up vintage co-op and they sold out. Sorry for the blurry photo this was a loooong time ago.

Chalkboard paint is another fabulous medium. By coating Easter eggs in chalkboard paint allows for any design or words to be scripted on the eggs.

An Easter egg tree is such a fun table decoration. Real or faux branches create a great effect. Branches can be foraged in yards or parks. Just keep your eye out and you’ll find some great wood branches.

These grapevine carrots have all the organic feels, which I absolutely love. A vintage frame is the perfect and easy stage to create a frame wreath which can be displayed indoor or outdoors.
