welcoming fall foyer decor

I added some more fall decor to our foyer to welcome family  & friends and get them in a fall state of mind since the weather outside is not doing it.
Fall foyer
It’s still sweltering heat outside but i’m ready for all that fall brings with it.

Fall foyer1

Pumpkin spice lattes, sweaters, football games, burnt leaves, scents of cinnamon, soups…all of it!

Fall foyer2

This is the first thing anyone sees when they walk through the front door.

Fall foyer3

It’s also the area of the house we walk through to get from the bedrooms to all the public areas of the house {kitchen, dining room, family room, etc.}

Fall foyer4

So regardless of our flip flops, shorts and tank tops I hope this will evoke some autumnal feelings to those walking by.

Fall foyer5

Regardless of the heat I do have some fall projects brewing I hope to share real soon.

Fall foyer6

Hoping to find some real pumpkins next week to add more sprinkles of fall.

Fall foyer7

You can see last year’s fall foyer with a DIY tutorial.

Your vignettes are wonderful Mary Jo, always enjoy your great decorations but especially for Fall.
Christmas I really enjoy making decorations, etc. but Fall is my favorite.
We’ve had hot Summer here in western CO also, hottest can remember. Wouldn’t have minded if we’d gotten to go to state park lake 7 1/2 miles from our house.
Hope we have cold snowy winter, last year was way too mild for me.
    Have wonderful rest of week

What a welcome view entering your home! I love the collection and styles of pumpkins and the wood look vases. I passed on them at the end of winter when they winter when they were on sale and now I regret it. Beautiful styling Mary Jo!

  4. Such a lovely entry, your vignette is beautiful!

What a lovely foyer! I especially love the white pumpkins and cotton stems. I can’t wait to decorate my foyer for fall, that is, after all the dining room furniture is taken out and moved back into the dining room! Home renovations really turn things upside down. Right now I’ll live vicariously through yours! Thanks for sharing at Vintage Charm! xo Kathleen|Our Hopeful Home

  10. Thanks kathleen! Actually I rather be going thru a reno than seasonal decorating. Lol. Thanks for stopping by. xo- mj
