the season of love

Yes, love is in the air.
Love book 1
I just dug out my valentine’s decor, which isn’t much, since we’re always away at our timeshare over the valentine’s day holiday.
We weren’t able to go last year so I had a little valentine’s fun, which you can see here.
Love book 2
One of the things I did find was this little {love book} I created back in the days when I taught scrapbooking classes.
Love book 3
I love it!!! {no pun intended}
Love book 4
And this is the reason I use to scrapbook, because the journaling brings me back in time & reminds me of little details I would otherwise forgot.
Love book 5
I really need to get back to this hobby to immortalize all of these memories we get to live.
Love book 6
And then enjoy them all over again when we flip through the books.
Love book 7
I love photo albums, but {not to sound like a broken record} the journaling is what really evokes the memory for me.
Love book 8
I actually created a post about this book when I used this blog for my scrapbooking business, which you can read here.
Love book 9
The reason I shared that old post now is because my word for 2016 is timely.
Love book 10
How funny is that?
Love book 11
I talk about my “time” issues even way back then.
Love book 12
It’s about time I do something about it and 2016 is the year.
Love book 13
I’ll be sharing more about my word {timely} shortly.
Love book 14

  2. Oh Mary Jo this brings me back to my scrapbooking days! I started doing it when my kids were little. I got through a few years’ worth of pictures and then life got in the way. Your book is beautiful, exactly like the kind of stuff I used to love to make. You’ve inspired me! Thanks for sharing at Vintage Charm. Hope to see you there at tomorrow’s party! xo Kathleen
