I’ve been wanting to share so much with you but I’ve been b.u.s.y !
Which I know every.single.one of you can relate to.
I am mostly done with decorating the house inside & out, which I give a few glimpses in this post but will share in more detail real soon.
I also finished our christmas cards which is a huge relief; they should be here next week.
Some holiday baking for my girlfriend’s annual cookie exchange is always fun. This year I made snowy tree lemon sugar cookies with a lemon glaze for a frosty finish.
I’m also planning a party we’ll be hosting on the 22nd; the invitations are mailed and the menu planned so II’m feeling somewhat, somewhat organized on that front.
Most of my Christmas shopping is done thanks to online shopping; now I’m waiting for everything to finish arriving so I can wrap.
I do have to go to the mall for a few things which I hope will not prove to be too nutty. Did I ever mention I hate crowds?
So my last little project, because we all need extra work during this time of year, right? A snack bar on the front porch for all our delivery people, making our Christmas magic so much easier and showing them how much we appreciate them.
This is so rewarding that it’s totally worth the little extra effort. I got the idea over at the between naps on the porch blog so I need to thank Susan.
This is what the season is all about and I am happy to report that our delivery drivers have been indulging. It makes me so happy!
“It’s not how much we give but how much love we put into giving.”
Oh my gosh what a cool idea! We get so many deliveries this time of year this would be great for our delivery people:) Your home looks lovely! Wish I could attend your soiree lol I’m sure it’ll be lovely as well. Thanks for sharing at Vintage Charm! xo Kathleen|Our Hopeful Home
