Our christmas tree was the first thing done for the season this year.
It was up & done the Saturday after Thanksgiving.
And, yes, it was still November.
That’s pretty good for this crew.
This year we felt the impact of our kids getting older.
Miss M, the tween in the family, changed sleep over plans so she could be home & decorate the tree with the family.
but then, Master M, the teenager in the family went out with friends which delayed the festivities, but he was home early enough to make it all work out.
A vintage truck under the tree with bottle brush trees will be the only toy under the tree these days.
We also have a table top tree in the family room.
This little guy is only graced with green birds, mini mercury glass ornaments | garland and snow flakes from the Dollar Tree that I glass glittered.
I bought a pack of 10 last year for our winter mugs & the German glass glitter aged perfectly so I added the rest to this tree this year.
I love real trees, regardless of the mess & higher maintenance.
Plus a sprinkling of trees here & there & everywhere.
On the other side of the family room sits a small tree vignette on a mirrored tray.
IIt includes bottle brushes & a couple of trees I’ve crafted through the years.
The Anthropologie snow globe knock off I created a few years back.
In the kitchen I have a few tree vignettes.
I shared a sneak peak of the kitchen table here.
I also shared a quick S&P shaker snow globe craft here.
Which now sits on my kitchen scale in a mini vignette.
A family of bottle brushes sit underneath a marble cheese dome.
I found the cheese dome at a thrift store & truth be told I use it to decorate more often than to serve cheese.
Are you done decorating yet?
Happy fa la la la la la la la la !

your house is so fancy and nice it is amazing but i was wondering if anyone impaticular such as a wonderful daughter or kind of (really) bad son? xoxo -Lexie M.
Your tree is gorgeous! Where did you get the garland? I love it! We bought our tree on that day, but it took at least a week until it was decorated. I know what you mean about the kids getting older. My tween son never cared much for decorating anyway, but my two teen girls were not really interested at all this year:( I was sad. I keep remembering things from Christmases past when they were little…..ah well. Thanks for sharing with us over at the Vintage Charm Link Party! Hope to see you there tomorrow morning! xoKathleen Charm Bracelet Diva {At Home}
