S&p shakers

I just wanted to share a quick Christmas craft.

S&p shakers2

Once you assemble all your supplies it doesn’t take that long to make.

S&p shakers3

These cute salt & pepper snow globe shakers can be ornaments, table top decor, vignette accents or anything you want them to be.

S&p shakers4

I attached tiny bottle brushes I found at Joann’s to a jingle bell & dropped them into the shakers, which I filled with 2-3 tablespoons of faux snow.

S&p shakers5

I then covered the tops with German glass glitter, which serves a pretty & practical purpose.
The German glass glitter adds sparkle but it also covers up the shaker openings so none of the faux snow can inadvertently fly out.

Lastly I added tinsel around the edges to finish it off & decorative twine through the middle shaker opening to hang.

S&p shakers6

These would be cute for a hostess gift…or as an extra accent on a gift wrap…or at each place setting for a christmas tablescape.

S&p shakers7

The possibilities are endless.

Happy Christmas Crafting.

    Absolutely adorable.
I might just make a few for a Christmas centerpiece.

  3. Oh my gosh I love these! I’m a snow globe junkie so these are right up my alley! I never thought of using salt shakers but the idea is genius. I see you’ve got Miss Mustard Seed’s glass glitter, I’ve always wanted to get me some of that 🙂 The bells are a nice touch! Thanks for linking up over at Vintage Charm! We hope you’ll join us again at this week’s party on Thursday morning. xoKathleen
