nov/dec workshop

Ok, since the last Thursday in November is Thanksgiving and the last Thursday in December is Christmas, I’ll only be holding one Thursday night workshop during this busy season, scheduled for December 4th.  The theme is a monochromatic layout and each student has the option to pick from the following colors:  pink, red, yellow, green, blue, purple, brown, black or white.  Of course I chose green simply ‘cuz it’s my color of choice…always, but I think a better way to go is to look through your photo stash and find something you want to scrap that screams a certain color to you.  Yes, it’s not as easy as it sounds but try it and it might work out for you.  Here’s a list of kit supplies:

• dooblebug design paper theme set

• prism cardstock (white & kraft)

• jenni bowlin chalkboard alpha stickers (vintage)

• my minds eye “life” acrylic stamp

• coordinating ribbon (stash)

• additional stamps: fancy pants designs, autumn leaves and 7gyspsies self inking stamps

• mcgill paper charms punch

In addition to the 2 page 12×12 layout above I will also create an additional 12×12 spread that can utilize the remains of the kit.  The design technique I use in this additional layout is a great way to use up all those scraps we accumulate.
