Well, we had a fun filled happy Halloween weekend.
It started on Friday with Lexi’s 1st grade class party (here she is w/ her friend Emma)
Followed by a mid morning Halloween school parade (Lexi was a pink cheerleader from beginning to end while Sebastian chose to be general grievous from Star Wars at school and Mets David Wright for trick or treating)
And this year for the 1st time it was followed by Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” dance performed by the entire Montair community. Very, Very, VERY cool and fun. Sebi was almost front & center so I got some good shots of him, but unfortunately Lexi was all the way in the back & I couldn’t see her (she preformed it enough at home though so I have seen her in action).
And we finished off with Sebastian’s 3rd grade classroom party in the late morning. Here he is with his friend Andrew and apparently General Grievous has a twin brother. {wink}
Phew… is Halloween over now? uhmm….it hasn’t really even begun….
On Saturday we had some adult fun while the kids spent the night at their friends’ house. We enjoyed a dinner party at home to introduce my Tia Mary & Tio Bebe to some close friends and some American Halloween fun. They embraced the occasion full on:
As did my cousin Cleopatra, i mean Fabianna.
and my creative friends Iron Man & Wonder Women.
And every party needs a Dr. & a hippie, don’t ya think?
The Lees rocked the Matrix for sure.
And your hosts Holly Golightly and Paul “Fred darling” Varjak.
We ate, we drank, we laughed.
And finally… trick or treating. Sebastian and Lexi love running through the neighborhood with their BFFs, Trevor & Emily.
I’m so very grateful for the opportunity to experience this with my aunt & uncle. For me. And for them.
Although I enjoyed every minute of it, I’m ready to hang up the Halloween hat until next year.
I didn’t even mention the garage sale, soccer game & end of the season party (Lexi) and baseball game (Sebi) and……
