Welcome to Styled 2 Ways – Halloween Craft Edition
Styled 2 Ways is a collaboration between my blog, Master”pieces” of my Life, & the blog From the Bay to the Beach, penned by Susan. Two different points of view for a particular styling, project or concept are shared. A guest host sometimes includes another styling for triple the fun. Thank you for joining us; we’re happy to have you here with us.

Although Susan and I both like many of the same things, we both have unique styles of our own, and we want to share how the same idea can be expressed in different ways. Both ways are equally as fantastic, and appreciating other unique takes on the same idea expands our own personal style.

When you are done here, please hop over and visit Susan. If you are here visiting from Susan’s place, welcome, I am so happy you are here. Leave me a comment down below; I would love to get to know you. Come on in, have a seat and enjoy!

Inspiration for Halloween Party Printables
As mentioned above, the inspiration for these DIY party printables is Edgar Allan Poe’s literary masterpiece “The Raven.” A Nevermore inspired Halloween party hits all the vintage macrame notes.
I’ve shared Nevermore inspired Halloween decor for the home before, and this takes it a step further with custom party pieces to share the fun with guests. All the party paper pieces have been created to be customized and used for your own event.
3 Unique Printables for a Special Halloween Party
Invitation
The first step to any gathering is extending an invitation to all your desired guests. In this electronic age, I still prefer to send a snail mail printed invitation when I wish to create a special event. That being said, since you download this as an electronic file you can use the invitation electronically should you so desire.

The first invitation template below has the title headers I used . The second template is totally blank if you prefer your headings of choice. Either way you can download the invitation and customize it appropriately to your event details.

Menu
Create a fun menu with the holiday in mind. By creating a printed menu all your guests can anticipate the fun and spooky fare you have prepared for them. Create fun and spooky treats that are both delicious and eye-catching.The printed menu can be a token party favor for them to take home to remember the festivities.

There are few different menu templates to choose from. I chose to stagger my menu course headers to add to the unexpected Halloween experience. If you are a type A personality and prefer things with symmetry the headers are also centered. A totally blank menu option provides further customization depending on your serving options. Have fun and make it yours.

Place Card
Place cards on a table styling helps the host and guests. The host can strategically place guests in appropriate spots to create jovial conversation streams and put guests at ease. The place cards provide guidance to each guest on where they should sit and avoid any awkward choices.

The place cards can be printed in bulk. Four tent place cards fit on a regular letter size paper, which can be printed in the quantity to accommodate the number of guests.

Tips and Recommendations for Using Halloween Party Printables
Once you download the printables, you can customize them in a variety of different ways. The invitations, menus and place cards can be edited electronically or manually, depending on your preference.
Electronic Edits
The pieces were all created on Canva so if you are a Canva user, the files can be upload there and edited further for your particular event. The font used is Armstrong but you can change it if desired.

Manual Edits
Old fashioned script its always a classic look for hand scribed pieces. The printables can be filled out using a white pen or sharpie. White ink is necessary to show the writing on the black background.

Cardstock
Card stock is recommended for printing since it provides heft and sturdiness. The heaviness of the cardstock allows the pieces to present and be positioned properly with a stately presence. I also used three different colors and|or shades for each piece. A white, off-white and cream all show how different effects can be achieved with subtle differences. Use these details to style your table to coordinate with the table top design and mood you are setting.

Closing Thoughts
These printables will immediately elevate any Halloween gathering. The Edgar Allan Poe’s “The Raven” theme is a classic, which creates a sophisticated spooky ambience. The printables are easy to use and require minimal effort to set up. Plus free printables are cost-effective, allowing for a unique look without spending a fortune. The special added details will make any event stand out.

I special table styling will be dedicated to these fantastic Halloween party printables. Here is a little sneak peak and a subsequent post will share all the spooky Halloween table details.
