forty-one, is that possible?

Happy_birthday_2_meYup, I was born November 8th, 1966.  And here I am forty-one years  later.  so is this considered middle age?  Not quite sure, not quite feeling it, but I guess it is reality.  Whatever.  I could throw cliches out there, like “young at heart” or “you’re as old as you feel” but it’s really not necessary.  Actually, I love what matt always repeats lately (since we both turned forty last year), “forty is the new twenty”.  They use it in “40 Year Old Virgin” (I think that’s where we picked it up), and it makes me laugh whenever Matt says it.  Don’t ask me why, it’s quite silly really… but in all seriousness, I have no complaints so far, it’s all good!  I love my family, my home, my friends, my life!  I like how Mark Twain put it ” age is an issue of mind over matter.  if you don’t mind, it doesn’t matter.  Feliz Cumpleanos Maria Jose!
