Christmas Cheer
Hello friends, I am so happy you are here today!?I hope everyone who celebrates, had the best Christmas ever.?Today I want to share some of our Christmas cheer from our home to yours today, to wrap up the holiday season.?

I had wanted to do this sooner, but I decided to be present and fully enjoy time with my family instead.?I hope everyone did the same since it’s so important and so, SO good for the soul.?I’ll be talking about this wellness focus more in the new year.
If you don’t want to miss out on any of the upcoming projects you can subscribe to receive all my new posts to your in-box.
Christmas cheer starts outside
Simple brass bells and velvet ribbons on the front door boxwood wreath add Christmas charm.?Plus twig forms, shaped like Christmas trees, flank the rustic dutch door.?

The twig trees have strung lights, plus lanterns add more glow on the porch.?The goat cart spills over with Christmas baubles.?

All the greenery has turned brown by now, which is unfortunate, but it’s part of the deal when you use fresh greenery.?I should have taken photographs earlier in the season.????

A vintage sled with more bells and greenery sit on the other side of the porch.

the Christmas Eve table
Once ushered inside, more bells and velvet ribbon greet you in the foyer.?You can see more of our foyer decor here {Christmas decor vignettes – ideas & inspiration}.

Through the foyer sits the dining room.?The table sits ready for our Christmas Eve dinner.?We celebrate with the feast of the seven fishes, which is an Italian tradition.

I used the wooden words for the place settings this year.?I got these a few years back, which I shared here {sentiment Christmas tablescape}.

The centerpiece has our large Wonki Ware bowl full of white washed ornaments and pine cones, which sits in a large silver platter.?

I removed the large trees and nutcrackers before we sat down for dinner to allow conversation across the table without obstruction.?

Thank you for visiting and being with me this year, and I look forward to sharing more with you next year.?It fills my heart to know you like stopping by here and being inspired.

So lovely!! I’m so glad you were able to slow down and be present with the fam! Cheers to a New Year!
Thanks so much Rachel. Yes I’m enjoying our time together. Happy New Year sweet friend! XO- MJ
You mention the “brown” greenery, honestly everything looks fabulous. My son/wife’s Christmas tree literally dropped it’s pine needles (the cat didn’t help) the day after they put it up. Love the bells and I need to look for some for next year. Looking forward to next year. Take care.
Thanks so much Janice. Oh no!! We just have to go with it and enjoy everything. Thanks for stopping by. Happy New Year! XO- MJ
