A Winter Forest Table Scape
The long days of winter can get one down after all the fanfare of the holidays has been quieted down and put away.?But you can still make for special days and elevate any ordinary day by creating a pretty setting. This winter forest table styling makes for a fun setting on a cold winter’s day.

I am ready for springtime, but in the meantime we can make the best of the long winter days.?This winter forest table design was easy to put together using Christmas decor and evergreen tree plates from the Dollar Tree.?Can you believe that??Come on in and let me share all the details on this fun winter table.

Inspiration for the Winter Forest Table
Can you believe these forest tree plates are from the Dollar Tree??I can’t either.?I shop the Dollar Tree frequently enough, but I am mostly looking at crafting supplies and seasonal items.?As soon as I saw these plates I grabbed them, even though I wasn’t 100% sure I would buy them.?They are the perfect muse for this table styling.

I found these around Thanksgiving when there was an assortment of Christmas themed accent plates, but these evergreen tree plates were a little bit different.?A bit more understated.?There was a stack of six, and I could not find anymore, anywhere in the store.?Another customer saw me holding them and mentioned she had bought the entire set the other day.?Set??Wait, there was more??She added they had gone viral on Instagram and probably sold out.?

Hmmm at $1.25 per plate I quickly decided they should come home with me.?Of course I immediately looked online, and sure enough there were dinner plates and glasses and cups and bowls and tea towels and more.?How was I not in the loop about this?!??

Although everything was super cute, fortunately, the side plates are the only pieces that really spoke to me.?I did look in another local DT store since I would like a set of twelve accent plates, but none to be found.?None online either, so I hope they come back next year.

These plates are great for Christmas time, but lend themselves to be used from September through the end of winter as well.?I love their chunky quality, which is very similar to restaurant-ware, which I love.???

Final Thoughts on the Winter Forest Table
Repurposing and stretching the use of seasonal decor is always a great way to get more bang for your buck.?The bottlebrush trees pair well with the plates, and it was a great way to use Christmas decor in a different way.?I also love the sweet deers peeking out between the trees for an added detail of woodsy feels.

I wanted the winter table styling to have a cozy feel to it, so I set it on the kitchen table for more casual vibes.?Throw blankets on the chair backs add another layer of texture, placed for anyone to use for all the comfy feels while sitting at the table.?

Thanks for being here and see you next time. Au Revoir!

I love this table! Because the only thing I’m hosting over the holidays is a New Year’s Day brunch, I don’t want my table to be all that Christmasy, I’m going for more of a Northwoods look. This is just the sort of thing I’m hoping to do. Thanks for the inspiration.
Oh! I’m so glad you liked it Pattie. I just saw the tree plates at the Dollar Tree again this year. Can’t beat the value. Happy Holidays! XO- MJ
