So Many Ways to DIY your own Easter Eggs – There’s Something for Everybody
Regarding DIYing your own seasonal decor, the best part is that you can put your own personal spin on it. You can apply your own color scheme or design etc., truly making it your own and coordinating it to your personal style and decor. I always say everyone has a signature style, and you want it to come through in your seasonal decor.
Floral Eggs
Theses were super fun to make, and I love how they came out. I made a hydrangea and a hyacinth egg, but you can pick any flower petal to use in any color. Most of the supplies came from the Dollar Tree so the project didn’t cost much, just some time.

Decoupage Eggs with Paper Napkins
This is a fantastic way to decorate eggs with an intricate pattern that you can select yourself. I used paper mache eggs for this project, but you can use other mediums like wooden eggs, plastic eggs, etc.
Decoupage Eggs with Vintage Sheet Music
Talking about plastic eggs, I decoupaged a bunch of plastic eggs with sheet music. The plastic eggs were left over from my kids’ Easter egg hunts when they were littles. And this is why I save stuff. Some call it hoarding, I call it being prepared. Vintage sheet music is something I pick up at thrift stores regularly, because I love to use it in so many projects.
German Glass Glitter Eggs
Ok, German Glass Glitter is one of those mediums that instantly makes anything look regal, and timeless and beautiful. This was a Pottery Barn dupe project several years ago, and I still love to bring these beauties out every Easter season.

Moss Eggs
As much as I love the glitter glam vibes, I love, love the moss rustic and organic vibes too. These large moss Easter eggs always look great in our cast iron urns, but I have also used them in a dough bowl or in a crate or in any vessel really. I love all the organic feels moss brings to the party every time!
Painted Eggs
Painting faux eggs is a super easy way to transform them. After the paint dries you can embellish them as you wish. I do not have a tutorial for this project since this was before I was blogging with intention. I actually made these for my booth when I was a vintage dealer. They sold out, so unfortunately I do not have any left.
Chalkboard Eggs
I don’t have a tutorial for this idea either, but simply covering craft eggs with chalkboard paint lends itself to so many looks. You can write words, letters or numbers on them, or you can write names as place cards at an Easter table or they are great if you have littles at the table so they can draw & doodle their own designs. The options are only limited by your imagination.
