Sugared Cranberries

Easy Sugared Cranberries are perfect jewels for the holiday season.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 3 cups granulated susgar
  • 2 cups cranberries

Instructions

  • Read entire recipe and assemble all your ingredients and tools
  • Prepare simple syrup by boiling water with 1 cup of sugar until sugar is completely dissolved
  • Set simple syrup aside to cool
  • Wash cranberries and let dry thoroughly
  • When cranberries are dry and simple syrup is at room temperature, coat cranberries in syrup and set on parchment paper for about 30 minutes to dry partially
  • While cranberries are still moist and slightly tacky roll and coat in remaining sugar
  • Set cranberries aside for sugar to cure
  • Discard excess sugar
  • Store Cranberries in airtight container or sealed baggie
