I just wanted to pop in and share a quick story with you.
So I have NOT thrifted in f.o.r.e.v.e.r.
And the other day I had an appointment in the same shopping center as one of the thrift shops I use to frequent in my consigning days.
And they were having a huge sale.
And I just somehow found myself in the shop.
Well, come to found out they totally remodeled it and they had way more wares than they use to.
It’s a pretty small shop but they did a good job re-configuring the space and reorganizing the merchandise.
Needless to say I found some goodies to come home with me.
Low & behold, not to anyone’s surprise I came home with a bunch of silverplate.
Remember when I shared my love affair with silverplate here.
All the blue tags were 50% off and all the orange were 30% off.
Not too shabby.
I actually have plans for most of the silverplate that I hope to share soon.

Oh, I love your silver-plate! I just got home from our Goodwill with a silver-plate coffee pot, creamer and covered sugar bowl!!! I have a stash I’ve been collecting for my booth, but I have a hard time giving it up… trying to decide what and how to use them!

Great thrift store finds for sure, I could think of many ways to decorate with those silver plates!
I love old silver so would love to be right there with you. An easy way to clean it is to make a paste of baking soda. It takes the tarnish right off.
