Ok, so I’m not a big proponent of the one photo layout, simply because I take waaaay too many photos & it’s not practical for my style of scrapbooking. journaling is super important to me because I want to tell our story as a family & my story as a woman, wife, mother, friend, etc. and part of telling the story is the photographs. Many times I find just one photograph doesn’t do it justice, but I just did three, that’s right, not just one or two, but THREE, one photo layouts. I’ve been wanting to play with certain product I just bought, but more importantly I only had one photograph for these instances. I’ve been wanting to do a clear layout forever. I love me my Hambly. I also used a Karen Russell Narratives transperancy & plenty of Heidi Swapp products. (Sorry that the picture I took is not the best, you can actually see me reflected in the background. One of the drawbacks of a clear layout ; ).
This other one I actually did a few weeks ago & it’s not necessarily new product, but it’s a single photo layout. the other thing is that the single photo phenomenon creates a single page layout, which is also uncommon in my books. I think I might have just broken a few scrapbooking habits & I like what the future might bring.
Cute layouts–especially the Valentine one.
