The inspiration and driving force behind the lush green Thanksgiving table styling are the faux Wedgwood Jasperware pieces, which I crafted a few months ago along with the green Parkhill garland. The color green makes me happy and in this styling provides fresh vibes plus touches of richness.

We’ve had the garland for a long time now, and I usually use it around the front door, but I haven’t taken it out mom the storage bin for the last few years. I am not sure why, but I’m loving it as a centerpiece here. The faux green Jasperware pieces are a favorite DIY of mine and provide a bit of fancy amongst the organic pieces of the garland.

Many of the pieces for this table are usual suspects at our Thanksgiving tables. A new theme every year keeps things fresh and interesting. from year to year. Every year I think it’s my favorite table, and here we are again. I am really loving the look of this lush green Thanksgiving table styling.

Whenever I set a table or plan a specific table setting I tend to start with the theme and plate stack. Both of these details are intertwined and set the mood and guide the entire table styling. For Thanksgiving, I know for sure I will use the Johnson Brothers Barnyard plates and most probably the copper chargers. I inherited both from my parents, and I wish they were still here to enjoy them with us.

The green theme is easy for me since It’s my go to color palette. Reinventing the garland as a centerpiece rather than a door adornment is a novel idea. I love the way it looks on the table, and I will have to remember this for next year.

This is my last table setting for the season, and I have so many Christmas and winter tables planned over the next few weeks.

Candlelight is always a mood booster and ambience setter for any table setting. Mismatched candlesticks, including white, green and birch tapers mix well with the table styling. I used whatever I had on hand and these all worked together for the table styling. I didn’t want to buy specific candles for this particular table, and like I always preach, if you stay true to your style all the pieces will play well together.

Winter has started around here, which means rain upon rain and more rain. I don’t know if you can tell from the picture below how dreary and wet it is outside. It made the photos a bit of a challenge since the natural light was dark, but I guess it’s part of the mood of the season.

I had planned on an outdoor and porch decor post for the Thanksgiving season, which I’m not sure is going to happen anymore. Rain is forecasted until Tuesday, which is A-okay since we have needed the rain for a long time now. It’s been a really dry summer and fall season. I’m turning the page to full on Christmas and although I have been working on many Christmas projects behind the scenes, I haven’t necessarily starting decorating yet.
