tablescape round-up from the Holiday season
We had a busy holiday season over here in a good way.?Many happy meals shared with loved ones with many pretty table stylings to go with them.?I wanted to pop in here today and share a quick holiday tablescape roundup.

I know many of us love setting pretty tables and are inspired by looking at each other’s table stylings.?If any of these table stylings grab you, for whatever reason, make sure to pin them for the next holiday season.?I have many new tables scheduled for 2024, which I am super excited to share with you.?
If you don’t want to miss out on any of the upcoming projects you can subscribe to receive all my new posts to your in-box.
sitting around the table with family and friends is the absolute best!
Some of my fondest memories with family when I was growing up are centered around the table.? Going back to visit our extended family in Uruguay always involved sitting around a big table with all my cousins and aunts and uncles and grandparents and so much love.?It was always loud and full of food and drinks and laughter.

Fast forward a few decades, and I love to bring family and friends together around the table to enjoy good company, good food and good times, always!?Here are the tables we sat around this holiday season.
a variety of table stylings for the holiday season
Some of these tables are super formal since they are our traditional big celebrations like Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, which I previously shared here with you.?Others are super informal, and I just snapped a few quick shots for fun and to help me next season.?

I wanted to share all of it with you, since setting tables is always fun for me and part of most meals around here.?My kids know how to set a proper table and do so often when they are home.
Friends over for dinner during the holiday season
We started the festivities by having some friends over for dinner.?Our friends are the parents of my son’t girlfriend.?All the kids were home from college plus my father-in-law was with us too, visiting from Georgia.?It was a jovial group to say the least.

We had a big pasta meal a la Materazo style at the request of our guests.?Ornaments on silver plates crowned the place settings, which I removed before everyone sat down.?The centerpiece was our dining room table decor for the Christmas season. ?

Christmas Eve dinner
Our big Christmas celebration is on Christmas Eve.?I shared our table briefly in this post {Christmas cheer}.?The stars of the show on the table this year were the wooden words.??

We always celebrate with the feast of the seven fishes, which is an Italian tradition.?Notice the centerpiece is the same ?.????

Christmas Day brunch
For brunch on Christmas Day, it is more of an informal affair just with our tight family in jammies after all the presents have been opened, and the living room looks like a bomb went off.?

This year we set it in the kitchen for more casual vibes rather than in the dining room.?Notice the woodland tree below, which I will be sharing with some family room progress updates really soon.?Our menu for Christmas brunch consists of eggs benedict, Materazo breakfast potatoes, fresh fruit and mimosas.

New Year’s Eve dinner
I always set a festive table for New Year’s Eve to start the year with all the hope and happiness it brings.?The clock motif is a traditional muse for the celebration.

I shared this tablescape with all the details here {a timely New Year’s Eve tablescape with DIY clock plates}.?I’ll be sharing this DIY shortly and you won’t believe how easy it is.?Our menu consisted of Kuleto’s grilled radicchio salad (Mr. M has mastered it!), chateaubriand, au gratin potatoes, sautéed mushroom&onions and Materazo side salad. ?

New Year’s Day brunch
Our New Year’s Day brunch table was very similar to the Christmas brunch table.?Casual, relaxed, stress free was the name of the game at this point.

I am so happy our kids appreciate good food and get involved in the kitchen.?It’s fun to share all these memories with them.?The menu was super simple with fluffy scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, buttery toast and fresh fruit.

final thoughts on the holiday tablescape roundup
I hope you enjoyed this holiday tablescape roundup and peeking behind the curtain at some of our everyday meals.?The plates showcased below, used during our brunches, were actually one of my Christmas gifts.?They were from Anthropologie and have sold out, fast!

I absolutely love these plates!?Thank you Santa Claus. ? They were actually featured as a Fall collection, but I can see using them all year long.?They had glassware in the same collection, which was super cute, but it sold out faster than the plates.?I am hoping they bring back this Mimi Thorisson collection next year.?Time will tell.

In the meantime you will be seeing these plates around here a whole bunch.?Bon Appetit friends!

So many pretty tablescapes! I’m in love with those green glasses. Are they vintage? Thanks for sharing your holiday joy 🙂
Thanks so much! The green glasses are actually Anthropologie as well years ago. I love them too. You might be able to find them in replacements or eBay. Not sure though or how much they cost. Good luck. XO- MJ
