it’s starting to look a lot like….

Christmas!  I was finally able to decorate at the new house.  The move wasn’t stellar but it’s done & we have a week in our new home under our belt.  There’s still some small items at the old house & we will still need to empty out the storage unit in the new year, but we’re settling in to our new home one day at a time.  But back to the fun stuff.  We got our tree on Saturday and decorated the tree & house on Sunday.  It was a bit weird to decorate for Christmas when the house wasn’t even decorated period.  But also quite fun for me.  Here is my mantel in the living room, yes, with our stockings hung by the chimney with care.  Mocha gets a stocking too he’s the smaller yellow one.  anyway here are a few other snapshots.  I’m happy to be somewhat in the spirit of things between packing & taking a load from one house to the other & then unpacking and finding a place for everything…

Here’s a little random bit of cheer that just makes me happy.

i always try to remember the reason for the season.  i hope everyone is enjoying their holiday season.  I will post the tree and Sebastian’s favorite part…the trains, later in the week.
