Whether it’s garlands or decorative holiday organic pieces, continue using all the greenery. A rosemary tree left over from Christmas a few years ago made the perfect entryway decor accent in the new year.

This year a greenery arrangement with hydrangeas from the yard used on our Christmas mantel has moved over to the foyer to greet guests with natural vibes.

Pine cones are a favorite natural decor element around here. They start popping up around September and are still going strong until the end of winter.

It’s as simple as adding pine cones piled high to any decorative vessel, including bowls, troughs and vases. You can add other elements to the pine cones if desired, but I like to just showcase them simply and cleanly.

Whether we are talking about simple twigs to hefty logs, they make great accents during the winter months. Branches with greenery is a classic look.

Branches have a ton of texture and details, which can be displayed on their own. Like pine cones, branches come in different shapes, sizes and colors.

This is the best way to get the most bang for your buck. Reuse your natural elements from the Holidays if they are not spent, stretching their life span and making your life easier in turn.

Natural elements are all around us outdoors. Whether it’s on your own property, at the local park or a nearby nature destination, keep an eye out. Mother Nature is very generous with her offerings, but always be respectful of the surroundings.

Beyond reusing seasonal decor and finding natural elements outdoors you can find some items in craft stores, garden nurseries, local farms, etc. Look for discounts when you can since leaning into nature is all about easy and affordable. I have included some options in the shopping section below for your convenience if natural elements are hard to come by where you live.
