So this is the note Sebi received in his leprechaun trap at school in Mrs. Larsen’s kindergarten class.  He was so excited to build the trap & then wait over the weekend.  All the kids (or parents I should say) were instructed to bring their traps in last Friday so they could catch them over the weekend.  This morning the classroom was in disarray with these little rainbow notes in all the kids’ traps.  So very cute!  Here’s Sebi’s masterpiece although he was a little bit disappointed since the green glitter glue didn’t do the best job of keeping his gold stuck.  Either the gold is too heavy, the glue’s not so good, or a little of both, but in any case it was a very fun school project.
Although we’re not the slightest bit Irish in this household we welcome any activity that involves crafting.  Besides I’ll also take any excuse to inject more green into my life since it’s my color of preference.  I also need to add that I’m very proud of Sebastian’s accomplishments in school.  Matt & I had our parent-teacher conference with Mrs. Larsen last week & Sebastian seems to be developing magnificently.  His behavior could always be improved a little bit, but he has come a looooong way.  I truly believe it’s because the harder course work in elementary school is challenging him & he’s definitely up for the challenge.  He’s a very detailed writer, is reading like a star & loves math.  So far so good.  I loved school as a kid & I hope both of my children feel the same way.  I’m very proud of my big boy~
