fall mantel & fireplace

It’s the first day of September and I started to decorate for fall inside.

Fall mantel&fireplace

I started with the living room mantel which is always a fun spot to decorate.

I’m sharing the mantel, fireplace & hearth.  the whole kit & caboodle.  The whole enchilada.  The whole nine yards.  I’ll stop now.

I’ll let the pictures do most of the talking.

Fall mantel&fireplace3

I used my collection of verdigris urns & some mercury glass items.

Fall mantel&fireplace4

Accented with wheat, feathers, dried hydrangeas & pine cones.

Fall mantel&fireplace5

Love the mix of shiny with rustic.  Always.

Have you started to decorate for fall yet?

I’ll share more fall decor real soon so make sure to pop back in.

I love the muted tones and mix of textures, especially the feathers and the wheat. I am on the hunt this year for some wheat bunches myself. And you can never go wrong with dried hydrangeas!
