I thought I would share my fall decor before the house gets spookified.
I know once the calendar page turns to October the kids will be begging for me to pull all the Halloween bins out of the attic.
So come on in & be greeted by my tiniest pumpkin.
I. just. love. that. stem.
It’s the only reason I bought this little guy.
Across the foyer on the bombay chest – sorry I think my hand shook.
Simple but still says fall to me.
Heading into the dining room.
I shared my fall glass cloches on the dining room table in detail here a few days ago.
There’s not much more I added for fall in the dining room except my burlap & pine cone garland.
You can see how I made this last year here.
In the living room the mantel got a full make-over for the season.
This time I took it all the way across to the far wall.
The asymmetry of the mantel drives me nuts but things could be worse, right?
Natural fall elements mixed in w/ silver plate, old books & cast iron urns.
I love the mix of the rustic with older refined items.
I’m still loving the stems on these white pumpkins.
I love the scale of these pine cones my in-laws sent me from South Carolina years ago.
Last year I added feathers to my decor; I especially love the pheasant feathers {wish I had more actually}.
I put my dollar store white pumpkins in some of my lanterns.
You can read how I made these here.
Super easy & super fun.
I also showed you the pumpkin filled birdcage in detail here.
Some mercury glass love on the coffee table.
My moss pumpkins which I made here are still in the over sized beverage bucket.
I gave them new stems since the old ones weren’t doing it for me.
Have you noticed that it’s all about the stem?
My book pumpkins sit on my mom’s secretary w/ my vintage typewriter.
This typewriter makes staging this area so much fun.
It’s all about the details.
Not sure when this will get old.
And last but not least the kitchen got a few simple details since the treat station is the biggest festivity. If you missed it you can view it here.
A big bowl of granny smiths (our favorite apples).
A cotton wreath.
And a simple centerpiece on the kitchen table.
Happy Fall fluffing!
