christmas inspiration

We got our Christmas tree today!!!

Christmas inspiration

I’m super excited.  We love the silver tip variety and the first tree lot we walked in to we saw it right in the front, and it was the only one they had left among all the noble firs.

It was calling out to us.  It was the right height, the right profile, the right everything!  I can’t believe how fast and easy it was this year to find the perfect tree.  Some years we have to hunt around at a few different places… but not this year.  I hope that’s a sign of things to come.

‘Tis the season.  So while the Masterpiece boys set it up and string the lights and bring all the Christmas bins in from the garage, I scrolled through all my picture archives from Christmas pasts.

Happy new year 2

I’m sharing here some of the images that inspired me and although I seldom do the same exact thing, it does help to guide and inspire me.

As soon as i’m done around here, I will share our Christmas magic for 2017.  I have a ton of ideas and can’t wait to get it all done.  Please check in soon; I would love to share it with you.

Sometimes inspiration comes to me from the strangest places and I just try and go with it. Happy to hear that you found your tree quickly. I remember those long searches at the tree farms in the freezing cold with 5 kids in tow. Looking forward to seeing all of your decor.
