Welcome March!  Along with March comes the widely celebrated St. Patrick’s Day holiday.  Although this is not a huge decorating holiday across the board and we do not have any Irish heritage that I know of, I still inject some touches here & there most years.

I don’t use the type of decor that might come to mind when thinking about St. Patrick’s Day per se.  LOL.  I use greenery and some crafts I’ve created and that’s about it.

I created this banner a few years ago from scraps I had laying around in my craft bins.

You can see I also start to have some Easter decor as well around this time of year.  I made the decoupaged sheet music eggs a few years ago and I will share more details in an upcoming Easter post.

I also made the “Lucky Us” book a long time ago, like a decade ago long time ago, but I love to look at it every year.  I made it for a memory keeping class at the time, and although I wasn’t super excited about the project at the time, now I treasure this snapshot in time.
a rash of good luck
If you like paper crafts and memory keeping you can follow the link to the original post to see all the details.  I love the personal touch it adds to our St. Patrick’s Day vibes in the house.  It’s a little personal detail that makes me smile.

Do you decorate for St. Patrick’s Day or skip it all together and go right into Spring?

Bells of Ireland get me any time of year whether alone or as a great accent in a mixed floral arrangement.

Bells of Ireland and a Shamrock plant is pretty much all you really need to evoke a St. Patrick’s Day feel.

Do you spy the Wedgwood Jasperware egg?  Yup, another stepping stone into Spring | Easter from this mid March decor.

“May your blessings outnumber, The shamrocks that grow, And may trouble avoid you, Wherever you go.”
