Tips & Tricks about the Dollar Tree Stag Canvas Glow-up
Dollar Tree has many different designs and sizes in these mini canvases. They are obviously not high end art work pieces, but with some embellishments and love they become unique decor pieces. The styles are varied and can compliment many different interior design aesthetics. Alter a canvas that speaks to you with your own spin.
Stags and bucks always speak to me. Then there’s elk and moose and I love all of them. I recommend finding a canvas that speaks to you and compliments your decor style. Add accent elements that compliment your personal style to bring the entire piece together.
By adding the decoupage medium to the canvas it adds depth and dimension to an otherwise flat piece. It’s an incredibly easy artwork hack, which is perfect for a seasonal piece of decor, which will be displayed for a very short window of time relatively speaking.
I created the Joyeux Noel image used for the wood slice accent. I’ve included it here in case you want to use it too. It would also make a great gift tag; just saying.
This little artwork canvas project costs about $5 and takes around an hour to create. Can’t beat that! Plus it can be personalized to fit your own signature style. Have fun and make it yours.
Closing Thoughts
Do you feel like December is sprinting by in record time? Oh good, I’m not alone. There’s so much to see and do and enjoy. I’m trying to center myself and enjoy the season, but my house still has half empty Christmas bins scattered about. I love all the projects that are done, but I want to accomplish so much more. Stay tuned.
It’s been about 60 degrees+ and sunny the last week. I love this weather although we do need some rain. Today we had a tsunami warning in northern California and southern Oregon but I haven’t heard any further report. Hopefully it’s not harmful or dangerous in any way. I feel weather patterns have been really nutty across the country. Hope everyone is safe and cozy wherever you live during this magical time of year. Enjoy the season friends!
