A few years ago I created these chalkboard wood slices to evoke some love words in our kitchen nook.
This year I have a Valentine’s Day tablescape that I planned a few weeks ago. This is for Friday night the 15th and I just need new fresh flowers and I’m good to go.
I love your table décor and the vignettes! Those chalkboard wood slices are so pretty. Were they difficult to make? Thank you so much for joining us at Celebrate Your Story! Hugs!
So beautiful, and special in sharing it with family. I didn’t decorate for the holiday as I was in the hospital for hip surgery. But my husband was so sweet and I got a ton of roses and chocolates! Thanks for sharing at Vintage Charm. xo Kathleen
Thank you so much Benita. The wood slices are super easy to make. I got mine at Michael’s using coupons. Then painted them using chalkboard paint {2-3 coats}. I only painted one side. So I can use them as wood slices or as chalkboard slices. 2 for the price of one! Thanks for stopping by. xo- mj
