So before the house becomes spookified for halloween I wanted to quickly show you some of the fall decorations I haven’t shared on the blog so far.
I already shared the front porch which greets you as you approach the front door.

Into the foyer we have the vignette with the DIY autumn image transfer sign.

Which then takes you into the dining room.
There aren’t a ton of decorations but just some seasonal touches.
Some green & white pumpkins peek thru the silvery greens on the dining room table.
Some velvety pumpkins are nestled among some mums.
On the sideboard I decorated my tiered silver platter with a mix of real & faux pumpkins with gourds, pine cones, and leaves I collected outside.
All is nature inspired.
I’ve shown you most of the living room compartmentalized but now I can give you a comprehensive look since Mr. Masterpiece cleared out his inventory.

I wrote a post about the mantel & you can see all the details here.

There are more details on this section of the living room here.
Here we are looking towards the foyer side of the living room.
And of course one of my favorite things to decorate through the seasons in the living room- my mother’s old secretary desk with my friend the old typewriter. You can see all the details here.
I plan to start the halloween transition this weekend but the Masterpiece children have not uttered a word so far. Another sign that they are growing up. Usually on October 1st they are clamoring for the halloween bins to come down from the attic. Sigh! Regardless, they will be helping this momma with some spookiness this weekend.
Happy October!
