It’s time to decorate another tray for the season. A tray is always a great vessel and foundation to create a seasonal vignette by just using a few simple components. Come on in, and check out my Autumn on a tray.

Not only will you get to see my Autumnal tray, but there are 22 other fantastic bloggers with fall tray masterpieces as well. I would like to thank Katherine from Katherine’s Corner for once again organizing this fantastic seasonal blog tour. You are in for a treat my friends!

If you are coming over from Life as a LEO Wife, welcome! Niki is super creative and full of inspiration. You can see all the other talented blogger participants at the end of this post for all the amazing Autumn on a tray blog tour goodness.

My other on a tray creations include {by the sea on tray blog tour}, and {easter on a tray blog tour}, and {Valentine’s Day on a tray blog tour}. Now onto today’s Autumn tray details.
styling details for my Autumn on a tray
For this tray tour, I styled an oversized basket tray on the living room coffee table. The basket is piled high with assorted pumpkins and lots of texture. It’s a fairly simple design.

There are really only three components to this seasonal basket tray display. Mercury glass, eucalyptus and real boo pumpkins are the only elements used; that’s it.

A bed of seeded eucalyptus branches lay on the bottom of one side of the tray. On top of the eucalyptus leaves are boo white pumpkins scattered around, which are surrounded with a couple of mercury glass pumpkins and a mercury glass hurricane. Candlight always creates great ambiance.

Rust colored velvet ribbon are tied to the stems of the mercury glass pumpkins to add a pop of color to the vignette. I love all the texture, starting with the basket to the seeded eucalyptus to the real mini pumpkins and the luxurious velvet ribbon.
surroundings for my Autumn on a tray
On the coffee table, next to the Autumnal tray sits an oversized mercury glass pumpkin, which is also dressed up with a velvet ribbon. This balances the coffee table composition, and rounds out the entire styling.

As a back drop sits the ornamental birdcage. The birdcage is also styled with more seasonal mercury glass pieces, which ties the entire area together. The ornamental birdcage is always dressed up for the different seasons and holidays, which you can check out here {through the seasons – an ornamental birdcage}.
