Memorial Day weekend is fast approaching, which unofficially kicks-off summer. I complied 5 patriotic ways to celebrate the red, white and blue through the summer.

These ideas can be used throughout the summer, starting with Memorial Day and ending with Labor Day with the star of the show in the middle, 4th of July, our country’s birthday.

All these ideas are from the archives, and you can get additional details by following the links underneath designated photos to the original posts.
⚜️ {1} outdoor garden decorations
The exterior of your home is always the first impression for your guest and neighbors. Pretty seasonal decor helps curb appeal. Patriotic bunting on the goat cart and flags tucked into a planter urn provide some American vibes on our front porch.

Flags and bunting are an easy way to decorate outside to set patriotic vibes to celebrate the red, white & blue.

Actually clustering flags into pretty containers is the easiest patriotic way to celebrate the red, white & blue.

⚜️ {2} interior home decor
Once the exterior of our homes are dressed in the red, white & blue. a few details in our interiors can also set a festive mood.

Once again flags tucked here and there do the trick.

The mantel is always a fun stage for seasonal decor. Besides flags and bunting you can add other details that give off Americana vibes like baseballs, liberty, stars & stripes, etc.

No matter what the holiday or season, I always like to decorate with flowers. Flowers are always a high impact, but easy decor option.

⚜️ {3} festive food
Patriotic celebrations tend to lend themselves to BBQs and relaxed gatherings. A buffet is always a great easy option for mixing and mingling.

Fresh fruit is always a great way to inject patriotic ways to celebrate with red, white & blue vibes.

I have some new patriotic dishes and recipes scheduled to share here really soon.

Salads are great way to entertain during the summer months. They are fresh and healthy and lend themselves to be served at room temperature.
⚜️ {4} delicious drinks
Fun libations always inject merriment during celebrations. Adding red, white & blue popsicles to bubbly is super festive. You can always substitute sparkling water or soda.

Adding red & blue berries in your ice cubes is a great way to elevate any beverage during patriotic celebrations.

I like these long profile ice cubes because they double as a drink stirrer, but you can use any shape you desire.

⚜️ {5} tables for gathering
Styling a table is always a favorite way for me to inject festive vibes into any celebration.

By using flags and Americana motifs as small details on a table cape it gives all the patriotic vibes.

All these ideas are from the archives, and you can get more details and see more pictures by following the links underneath some of the photos.

I am looking forward to all the summertime patriotic celebrations. Memorial Day is around the corner, then Miss Masterpiece graduates from high school, then Master Masterpiece comes home for summer break and then we are all together again. All.under.one.roof.again. It makes me so happy!
