Here’s another festive Christmas tablescape, showcasing bottlebrush Christmas trees as a centerpiece forest and green bottlebrush wreaths as individual placesetting details.
The table has a black and white vibe with some pops of green.
The touches of green include the small stripe in my {DIY plaid chargers}, the emerald glass goblets, the green bottlebrush wreaths at each placesetting and the detailed motif on the bowls at the top of the plate stack.
The plate stack is an eclectic mix of a fabric plaid charger, a black trimmed bistro dinner plate, a black transferware accent plate and a delicate porcelain bowl all topped with the green bottlebrush wreaths, accented with a pair of white jingle bells.
I also like the mixed wood of the table and the vintage breadboard which grounds the centerpiece forest.
I used two different sets of bottle brushes, including a natural set I bought last year and the white one I bought this year. I like the simplicity of the tree designs plus the neutral color palette.
The twinkling votives throughout the centerpiece add a little bit of magic, reflecting on the glassware, dishware and flatware.
I considered including tapers in the centerpiece but decided to let the trees be the star of the show and keep it simple.
Christmas might be smaller and bit quieter this year but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t have to magical, enchanting and festive.
Although I’ll be missing some loved ones near to us this year, I also feel blessed to have my immediate family all under one roof, together, happy and healthy.
Wishing all of you a very, merry Christmas.
