So this happened the other day.
Master Masterpiece asked when I was going to bring out the halloween decorations!

Happy dance. A big, happy, witchy momma dance.
For those who know me, I get a bit melancholy about my kids getting older & not embracing some of the things they use to get super excited about when they were younger.
I get it. They’re teenagers. They’re too cool for school.
So when my 15 year old asks about halloween decorations, well I get right on it. I don’t require much arm twisting in this department as it is.
Decorate for a new season? Yup, I’m all over it. Don’t have to ask me twice.
I added subtle changes to my fall mantel to spookify it for the season. remember my fall mantel?
Well, a few masquerade masks and glittery bats later & viola!
And just like that we have a halloween mantel.
Master Masterpiece is my kid who has always dug traditions. God bless him, ‘cuz so does his momma.
More halloween to come…
