dinner for 2 al fresco I love eating al fresco. It usually up in my mind a little bistro in Europe with amazing food, wonderful vistas and great ambiance. So here’s a nod to all those fantastic memories of those memorable meals right in the corner of our own patio. It immediately elevates whatever one is eating, drinking, talking about, etc. to another level. I set an intimate table that looks worthy of a celebration but it’s for any, ordinary day. Instantly it becomes an extraordinary day & dining experience Why not !?! We own all the plates and glasses and silverware and all that stuff; why not use them in a fun and unexpected way? It makes life so much more fun and interesting and worth living! Bon appetite! Here’s a post that shows you that little spot of the patio. gray container gardening vignette gray container gardening vignette This is a post showing another al fresco tablescape. end of summer tablescape al fresco end of the summer tablescape al fresco “To eat is a necessity, but to eat intelligently is an art.” ~François de la Rochefoucauld~ sharing @: tablescape thursday @ between naps on the porch feathered nest friday @ french country cottage morning cup joe @ the cottage market create-bake-grow-gather @ shabby art boutique funtastic friday @ olives-n-okra saturday sparks @ pieced pastimes scraptastic saturdays @ scrapality a bouquet of talent @ life on lakeshore drive saturday blog link party @ sunny simple life sundays at home @ love of home diy party @ diy show off dishing it digging it @ rustic & refined nifty thrifty sunday @ nifty thrifty things farmhouse friday @ the painted hinge amaze me monday @ dwellings the heart of your home show-and-share @ coastal charm met monday @ between naps on the porch the scoop @ stonegable inspire me monday @ my uncommon slice of suburbia mmm @ keeping it simple crafts celebrate your story @ the sweet sensations make it pretty monday @ the dedicated house reader tip tuesday @ jodie fitz inspire me tuesday @ a stroll thru life .html tuesdays with twist @ stone cottage adventures talk of the town @ knick of time tuesdays at our home @ maria elenas decor wow @ savvy southern style sizzle into summer @ diy by design creative muster @ fluster buster.com vintage charm @ our hopeful home home & garden thursday @ a delightsome life share your cup @ have a daily cup of Mrs. Olson home sweet home @ the charm of home share your style @ 21 rosemary lane friday feature @ oh my heartsie girl Share this:TwitterFacebookLike this:Like Loading... Beautiful table, relaxing sitting for your table. Love your centerpiece with the hydrangeas. Such attention to detail.
Oh MaryJo…That table is red carpet of tablescaping dear lady. Love it!
We too often rush through our meals and that’s a shame. Each meal should be taken leisurely and of course in good company. You’ve set a beautiful table and the ambiance is fantastic! Thank you for sharing with us this week at Celebrate Your Story and we hope you will join us again next week.
Thank you so much judy. These hydrangeas are from my garden and I just love them. xo- maryjo
