So back in may I attended the Goat Hill f\Fair. None of my vintage hunting friends were available to join me so I almost went solo. But then Mr. Masterpiece decided to come with me last minute which turned out to be really, really fun
It helped that there were adult beverages available but he totally got into the hunt with me. Once he was up to speed on the types of things I zeroed in on he was picking right along with me.
The biggest score turned out to be a goat cart, (I know, at the goat fair, the irony is not lost on me), which was in great shape at a great value. I know because I have been looking for a very, very long, long, loooong time.
It’s the perfect scale and since it was right before our anniversary I’m glad we found it together. I’m so excited to decorate it through the seasons, for different events, with so many options.
My wheels are spinning like crazy! Think pumpkins in the fall, evergreens and bling at christmas time, tons of flowers in the spring time. Really, the options are endless and i will share as it transforms through the seasons.
We foud some other fun things but the goat cart will always remind us of our 20th anniversary! Such a great find, at such a great price with such a great partner in crime! It does NOT get better than that.
The long coveted goat cart for our 20th, yup it’s for the long haul! ; )
Mary Jo I LOVE this find! Goat cart ~ who woulda thunk? Adult beverages are always a good thing:) I’m going to a fab Chicago vintage market tomorrow and I can only hope to have the same success that you had! Thank you SO MUCH for sharing at Vintage Charm!

P.S. He’s a keeper:)
thanks Joanna. I agree, it’s the best garden accessory. I’m keeping mine on my front porch but it will mostly be accessorize with garden accents. So much fun! xo- mj
Mary Jo, it’s a beauty! My sister in law has one and I have always loved it. So cute filled with pumpkins. When her brother, my brother in law; saw it at her home he said, “that looks like it should be at Jann’s house”. Made me laugh! Love the photo of the two of you!! Thanks for sharing with SYC.
hugs,
Jann
