The title of this post says it all so I’m going to let the pictures do most of the talking.
Old books, fresh flowers, mercury glass & easter eggs….
I mixed my real mercury glass with my faux diy mercury glass pieces.
You can see my DIY tutorial for faux mercury glass here.
Sprinkled with some subtle seasonal touches.
A pearly jeweled cross ~ rejoice!
A bird’s nest filled with eggs & a perched, crowned birdie ~ rebirth!
The eggs carry through to mercury glass pieces as well.
In tones of silver & gold.
The faux mercury glass pedestal bowls were perfect for my natural eggs.
I’ll share a trick I use when filling deeper bowls. I use padding (paper or moss or anything really) to fill the bottom space of the bowl that you don’t see and only use the good stuff (in this case the eggs) on the top space that’s visible. This saves in the amount of eggs or whatever it is that you will need to use.
Bailey always wants to be my helper with all my projects. lol. Sniffing and circling and getting in the way but I wouldn’t want it any other way. She’s my little helper. Love her.
Happy Easter Nesting!
