Yes, love is in the air.
I just dug out my valentine’s decor, which isn’t much, since we’re always away at our timeshare over the valentine’s day holiday.
We weren’t able to go last year so I had a little valentine’s fun, which you can see here.
One of the things I did find was this little {love book} I created back in the days when I taught scrapbooking classes.
I love it!!! {no pun intended}
And this is the reason I use to scrapbook, because the journaling brings me back in time & reminds me of little details I would otherwise forgot.
I really need to get back to this hobby to immortalize all of these memories we get to live.
And then enjoy them all over again when we flip through the books.
I love photo albums, but {not to sound like a broken record} the journaling is what really evokes the memory for me.
I actually created a post about this book when I used this blog for my scrapbooking business, which you can read here.
The reason I shared that old post now is because my word for 2016 is timely.
How funny is that?
I talk about my “time” issues even way back then.
It’s about time I do something about it and 2016 is the year.
I’ll be sharing more about my word {timely} shortly.
Happy Memory Keeping!

Oh Mary Jo this brings me back to my scrapbooking days! I started doing it when my kids were little. I got through a few years’ worth of pictures and then life got in the way. Your book is beautiful, exactly like the kind of stuff I used to love to make. You’ve inspired me! Thanks for sharing at Vintage Charm. Hope to see you there at tomorrow’s party! xo Kathleen
