It’s caramel apple season.
My family is a big fan of the caramel apple.
A really fun way to enjoy this seasonal treat is to set up a serve yourself bar with different fixings.
Everyone can pick and create the exact caramel apple version they desire.
I did this for thanksgiving last year instead of apple pie.
It was a big hit.
It’s enjoyed equally by both the kids and adults alike.
We do it as a family or it’s a great entertaining dessert as well.
Bon Appetite! Buen Provecho! Buono Appetito!

I am planning to do something similar at a baby shower in a couple of weeks! What kind of caramel did you use? I am having trouble picking a recipe!
Lovely job, and great idea. Think I might just try a few topping and
embellishements with my grand daughter who is at the age of being very
picky with food. lol
Would be a fun theme for any fall party.
Happy Fall,
Nellie
hi carlee- last year for thanksgiving i chose to make a homemade caramel & it took waaay too long and never reached the consistency i wished for. everyone still devoured it ‘cuz of course they’d been waiting for it. so this year i’ve been using jarred (gasp) caramel. trader joe’s has a fleur de sel version that my family loves. i highly recommend it. i’m a homemade type of gal but somethings i admit are just plain easier to buy & this would be one of them for me. hope this helps. it’s a great idea for a shower. good luck. xo- maryjo
thanks for dropping by nellie & leaving a comment. yes! that would be perfect for a grand baby! enjoy. xo- mj
