Happy St. Patrick’s day everyone!

Our family is not Irish and we don’t particularly celebrate this holiday. however Mr. M & I did indulge in a little bit of corn beef & cabbage for lunch today along with little Miss M, who rather liked it for her first try. This does not surprise me one bit since she’s my little foodie kid.
It’s ironic I don’t get more behind this holiday since green is my favorite color and I always enjoy a nice cocktail | beverage. Here are a couple of posts from St. Patrick’s days of years past here and here.
I made this little book a few years back in a class. And since I’ve never shared it on my blog before, I thought I’d share it today.
Every time I look at it, and read it, it makes me smile.
And although the cast of characters are a bit older the sentiments still ring true.
That’s why I like love creating projects like this, because not only is looking at the pictures fun but the journaling and details all tell a much broader story.
I really hope I can get back into my scrapbooking and altered art projects this year. It’s part of my {active} word for the 2015. You can read about that here.
Wishing everyone a safe & happy St. paddy’s day.
And I’ll leave you with a riddle…what do you get when you cross poison ivy with a 4-leaf clover?…

Love the book! I too enjoy looking back at books I have created in the past. Hubby and I are having corned beef and cabbage tonight. He was out of town on St. Patty’s and I had a corned beef in the freezer that needed to be cooked so I put it in the crockpot today along with carrots, potatoes, onions, and cabbage. Yum! Will be chowing down soon. lol! Thanks for sharing with SYC.
hugs,
Jann
