I’m taking an on-line class at Big Picture Scrapbooking called a year to remember with Heidi Swapp as the instructor. Anyway, she provides an art challenge every month, which consists of a 12×12 layout that fits in our calendars. During these challenges she teaches us techniques that make up her scrapbooking philosophy. It’s pretty cool. For August the focus was on a large picture, ideally 12×12 but I decided to print it myself from home so I only used an 8×10 photo. The picture represents something that makes us smile. As our homework the week before we needed to be aware of when & why we smile. Of course Sebastian & Lexi were one of the main reasons smiles crept onto my face time & time again (also the reason I screamed time & time again but we won’t get into that here). I chose to use a transparency under the picture since it wasn’t a full 12×12 and framed the photo w/ tape and journaling as Heidi suggested. here is my homework.
This is great, Mary Jo! I love the colors, and the pic and everything! 🙂
How did you like this class? Your LO is adorable!!!
